What is a Blog? A blog which is short for web log is a personal online journal or diary that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. A blog is a place where you can go to educate, advise, and personalize information to be distributed to online viewers. Blogging is a two in one tool, it should brand you as an expert and it should humanize your business. It is important to note that people initially do business with people they like, but they will continue to do business with people they like and trust.

Blogging can be used as a getting started business tool or a next level marketing tool, so whether you start with it or add it in the middle somewhere, when you are putting together your business implementation check list this needs to be on there. If you are just getting up and running with your business venture blogging is great because it is turn key, you do not need a web designer, an IT professional, you just need access to the internet. It is free, it is easy, and it is highly effective. A blog can initially take the place of a website if that is still being developed and then later can be connected to your business website as an added marketing and resource tool.

This video is going to walk you through how to create a blog page on Google's www.blogger.com website.
