How To Set Up A Blog Part 2 (VIDEO)

Printer-Friendly Format

This video is going to walk you through how to build and organize the blog content on your new blog page. We are using a blog created on Google's blogger.com website but you can use these tools with any blog platform.

To be a successful blogger you need to be active, timely, and consistent. You want to connect to your reader base with engaging, interactive, and useful content. Your clients need to be able to rely on not only the information, but the frequency of that information. If you are not a regular blogger you will lose your connection to people, they will go elsewhere to get their info fix. You should be blogging anywhere from 3 to 5 times a week, possibly even every day in the beginning.

I know this sounds like too much work, but really a blog is not an article, it is a short entry that grabs the attention of your readership. Some blogs will be a paragraph or two and some may be longer but remember you want to entice, intrigue, and create value. You do not want to overwhelm, upset, or bore your viewers. So watch the video and see if you can find some useful tools to systematize that effort making it more time efficient and manageable.

We would love to hear your feedback in the forum!!
