Bridget Ayers
I am sure you know this but there are oodles and oodles of social sites out on the web to join, and though your first inclination may be to jump on as many as possible, if you become part of too many you will never keep up! Your efforts will be diluted and counterproductive. The idea is to connect, build mutually beneficial relationships, and enjoy a little self expression. . . . keep reading

Women in Business vs. Men
Bridget Ayers
We know women in business are different then men in business, but how different are they and is being different really a bad thing? Men control the business world, men hold higher and more influential positions than women, and men get paid more. So why do women even bother? I am a woman and I am in business, and I do not worry or even think about what positions men hold, or how much they make. In business my greatest concerns are how to do business well, be ridiculously successful, while also living life on my terms. Don't get me wrong I am competitive but the competition starts with me and moves to those companies that are in my market place. . . . keep reading

Building Blog Readership with Cre8buzz (Video)
Bridget Ayers
Cre8buzz is a very friendly blogger community, high energy, fresh, and fun. I would say it pulls more of the family, mommy/daddy blogger profile. There are some non-family based bloggers there…I mean I am there, but if I were to throw it into a demographic pool I would say it is not the young college kids, but a more experienced adult community. There are part-time and full time bloggers here, unlike some of the other sites though it is not a let's hook up to get exposure site. The Ant Man (the host and life blood of this forum) is genuinely helpful and involved. People on this site want to build a community, which makes it a great place to start for those that aren't ready for the shark infested waters of some of the fast paced communities. Key here is to meet people. So join, many will come to you first, get creative, and have fun. . . . keep reading

To Franchise or Not To Franchise
Bridget Ayers & US Chamber of Commerce
The United States Chamber of Commerce approximates that franchised businesses have a 97% success rate within 5 years of opening. Non-franchised businesses have only a 48% success rate within their first 6 years. The reason franchises outperform small businesses is because the work has already been done for you. A franchisor has built a successful and proven business model, then sets it up as a turn key business for the franchisee. Buying a franchise, like making any other major purchase, should involve a thorough investigation. . . . keep reading
